Whale hybrid

This was a project I made a while ago, trying to create a monster picking inspiration from various animals, in this case it was a whale, an orca and a crocodile. I wanted to do a card style illustration and created a fictional game card inspired by tcg's like magic the gathering

Final piece where I added the bubbles that the whale creates while diving in the water

I added more details like the bubbles or the mast and I worked on the light

As I really liked the design, I started to do a full illustration around it and created a background
