Viking Village
This is a piece that came to my mind while doing landscape studies. Firstly I did a daytime painting but I felt it too monochromatic and boring so I decided to improve the impact and the story of the piece by changing the colors and doing a nightime landscape where the northern lights, the torches and the magic stood out really good, creating more impact in the viewer.
Final piece, where I changed the light, made it nighttime and added the northern lights and made the little character in the front more interesting
As I was not really happy with the statues because I think they were really basic, I decided to do a druid style changes, so I added the helmet with moose horns, but still felt really flat
I decided to add a viking castle in the inspired by the architecture of the wood churches in Norway
This was the first idea, but I wasn't happy with it as I felt it a bit basic
